Hello for everyone!
This festival had a great purpose which was to show various cultures that can be seen in such a prestigious university as UTS.
We went there on Wednesday, on the 3rd day of the festival. The program of the show included Arabic dancing by pretty woman and hip-hop dancing by a group of students.
The Arabic dancer showed an outgoing and beautiful belly dancing with such danger weapon as a saber. Furthermore, the dancer gave a lesson “how to dance”; it helped us to get an unforgettable knowledge such as how to dance using your belly.
Moreover, this dancing was followed by a hip-hop dancers, who have made the UTS hall full of emotions. The dancers, who presented Hip-Hop culture, were UTS students. As you can see on the photo, their skills were amazing.
Our impressions were great, it was beautiful.
Moreover, the second floor of the UTS tower was filled with little shops called “international markets”. The major souvenirs which were sold there: coulombs, flags, postcards, etc.
All of the souvenirs were brought from different countries such as Portugal, Spain, China, Lebanon, Malaysia, etc.
At 1 p.m we decided to have a lunch and we went to the UTS’s park (in the middle of the UTS Tower Building), where we found few cafes with various types of food: German, Portugese, Italian. Our group decided to take Portugese burgers, which was made simply with chicken and rocket salad. The price was suitable for the students, 6 $ per burger. As you can see on the “left” photo, our group member Victoire was very satisfied with the taste of the Portugese burger.
We were very tired after this terrific program and we have made a decision to go to the level 3 at the Tower Building, where we have found a cafe which has held the area near the main entrance. The idea of it was to support students with free Arabic coffes and teas.
The coffe was made in a big copper which gave a terrific taste. We took few cups of Marrakech ginger coffe with its exotic taste. As we wanted it gave us more energy and we went back to the UTS:insearch.
In conclusion, we’d like to say that it was a great experience for us. We have understood that different cultures at the UTS are the biggest benefits. We hope to see In-Fusion Festival next year. Also, we’d like you to go there and get the same knowledge as we did.
